AGREEMENT: If employed as a temporary or contract employee, I understand that I will be an employee of SearchPros Staffing and not of any client. If employed, I further understand that my employment is not guaranteed for any specific time and may be terminated at any time for any reason. I further understand that a contract will exist between SearchPros Staffing and each client to whom I may be assigned which will require a client to pay a fee to SearchPros Staffing in the event I accept direct employment with a client. I agree to notify SearchPros Staffing immediately should I be offered direct employment by a client (or by a referral of a client to any subsidiary or affiliated company), either for a permanent, temporary (including assignments through another agency), or consulting positions during my assignment or after my assignment has been ended – if the failure to notify us of the change in employment causes financial losses for SearchPros, we might hold you personably liable for the potential lost of revenue.

BACKGROUND: I hereby authorize SearchPros Staffing to make such investigations and inquiries into my employment and educational history and other related matters as may be necessary in arriving in an employment decision. I hereby release employers, schools, and other persons from all liability in responding to inquiries connected to my application and I specifically authorize the release of information by any schools, businesses, individuals, services, or other entities listed by me in this form. Furthermore, I authorize SearchPros Staffing to release any reference information to clients who request such information for purposes of evaluating my credentials and qualifications.

TERMINATION: In consideration of my employment, I agree to conform to the Employee Guidelines of SearchPros. Further, I understand and agree that my employment is "at- will" and that my employment may be terminated by either myself or SearchPros Staffing at any time with or without cause. It is also understood that no written documents, verbal assurances or other conduct shall be construed to modify this "at-will" nature of the employment relationship, unless the modification is in an express written contract which is signed by me and the president of SearchPros Staffing.

HARASSMENT: SearchPros is committed to providing an environment for its employees free of harassment. Please inform SearchPros promptly if you feel that you have been harassed or accused of harassment on the job.

TIMESHEETS: Before you go on assignment, make sure you have a blank time sheet with you. Fill out your time sheet daily. At the end of your workweek, you are to sign your completed timesheet and obtain your supervisors signature. SearchPros cannot pay you without a supervisor’s signature. Fax your signed timesheet to us. SearchPros must receive your signed timesheet no later than 10:00am on Monday to guarantee timely check processing.

PAYCHECKS: Paydays are every Thursday, each pay period will cover a one-week period that starts Sunday and ends on Saturday. We offer direct deposit services in which your wages are directly deposited into your personal bank account. Paychecks are mailed on Wednesdays to your home address unless you pre-arrange to pick up your paycheck in person. A $20.00 replacement fee will be deducted from any replacement check. SearchPros requires a 5-business day waiting period from the date the check was mailed before reissuing a paycheck.

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION / PRIVACY: Employees must exercise care in reference to all confidential information of the client company. Information may not be taken, copied or communicated to other parties. Office equipment and work areas are for business use and are subject to the rules and regulations of the client company.

DISCIPLINARY ISSUES: Failure to act appropriately is considered misconduct. You should follow the client company’s "house rules" while on assignment. Use of offensive language, illegal drug or alcohol use, absenteeism, tardiness, use of personal cell phone or conducting personal business (i.e. internet browsing) during company time, harassment and/or violence are considered disciplinary issues and may result in termination.

DRUG / ALCOHOL USE: The use, sale, or possession of illegal drugs or alcohol on SearchPros' premises or the premises of the client company is strictly prohibited. SearchPros reserves the right to test any current or prospective employee for alcohol and the illegal use of drugs at any time in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Client Company or SearchPros may conduct reasonable searches for drugs. Refusal to submit to a drug test or search may be a cause for termination.

USE OF FACILITIES: Employees may have access to SearchPros facilities and client company facilities, which may include but are not limited to phones, computers, equipment, building access, supplies and services. Office equipment and work areas are to be used for business purposes and are subject to the rules and regulations of the client company and in accordance with applicable law. Personal phone calls, personal email and Internet use is strictly prohibited. Any abuse may subject you to disciplinary action up to and including termination and the possibility of having to reimburse the company.

ATTENDANCE: Please report to and leave from work at the times specified by the client company. Absenteeism and tardiness will be considered misconduct and may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination In the event you will be late or absent, please notify SearchPros at least two (2) hours before your scheduled arrival time. If you are calling during non business hours, please contact your recruiter directly through their cell phones. Absences due to medically certifiable illnesses, jury duty, and military leave are acceptable in moderation with valid documentation.

SAFETY / REPORTING INJURIES: It is the responsibility of each employee to become familiar with the safety and emergency procedures of the client company. You are not permitted to operate machinery, automotive or truck equipment. You are not permitted to handle cash, checks, keys, credit cards, merchandise, confidential or trade secret information, negotiable instruments, or other valuables. You are not permitted to drive your own vehicle or the client company vehicle in the conduct of the client company’s business. You are to avoid working at your desk in a chair that is placed on slick plastic and leaning back in chairs. You are NOT to lift items weighing more than 20 pounds or anything that you feel is too heavy. Any job related injury should be reported immediately to the job site supervisor and to SearchPros. If any job related injury or illness is not reported as soon as possible, reimbursement for medical claims may be denied. It is important that you report any unsafe working conditions immediately to your SearchPros Representative.

VEHICLE SAFETY: You are not permitted to drive your own vehicle or the client’s vehicle in the conduct of a client’s business. If you choose to drive your own vehicle for client business, your own personal insurance will be liable. If any injury or liability occurs due to non compliance with our vehicle usage policy SearchPros Staffing can not be held liable.
